Thank you for registering for the car seat inspection clinic. Over the next few days we will review your submission and assign you an appointment time. When an appointment time has been set we will post it to the appointments page.
All of our technicians are volunteers and funds raised through clinics and other activities support the cost of holding our clinics and training courses. These items are costly and your donations are necessary for our continued success.
We request a minimum donation of $40.00 per car seat so that we can continue to offer this service. You may donate at the clinic, or securely online via PayPal.
If you would like to donate RIGHT NOW, please feel free to make a donation of $35.00 per car seat. Please click this link to make a donation right now: CLICK HERE TO DONATE NOW
If you would like to make your donation at the event, please plan to donate a minimum of $40.00 per car seat, by cash, credit card or e-transfer.
We are grateful for your generosity.
Please read the following information prior to the clinic so that we can better assist you during your appointment.
- SEATS for Kids encourages all parents to read their restraint manual and to attempt to install the seat on their own. We will gladly answer any questions that you may have during your appointment. Certified technicians are available to inspect your installation and help you correct common installation errors. We will not install a restraint that arrives in original packaging. You must first try to install the seat yourself.
- If your car seat is damaged, recalled, expired or does not fit your child or your car, we may refuse to assist you with that specific seat.
- Please keep in mind that we will be working in your vehicle. Please make certain your car is tidy - it makes it much easier for our technicians to help install your seat.
- SEATS for Kids recommends that your child attend the clinic. This will assist our technicians to properly assess and correct any restraint usage issues. It is extremely helpful if there is a second adult to assist with the child, leaving one parent free to observe and assist the technician. Your Children MUST be supervised at all times as there are many dangers at clinics, including moving vehicles!
- SEATS for Kids welcomes everyone to our events and clinics and we strive to do our very best to ensure your child leaves safely. Please be advised that we cannot take any responsibility or liability for damages to your property or child while you are in attendance at our event. Should damage or injury occur, please ask to speak to a supervising instructor or email us at info@seatsforkids.ca
- Please arrive promptly and prepared. If you cannot make your appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment so that we may offer your appointment to another family.
- Restraint systems purchased in the United States or lacking the National Safety Mark will not be inspected. Please contact us at seatsforkids.ca for more information.
- If you have attended a previous clinic or have inspection forms from anther time, please ensure that you have them with you.
Thank you for your support of SEATS for Kids. We look forward to seeing you at your appointment!
