A) SEATS for Kids Commitment to Privacy

SEATS for Kids is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information of its clients, volunteers, donors and other stakeholders. Seats for Kids Coalition Corporation (herein referred to as “SEATS for Kids”) values the trust of those we deal with, and of the public, and recognizes that maintaining this trust requires that we be transparent and accountable in how we treat the personal information in our care.

During the course of our activities, SEATS for Kids gathers and uses personal information. Anyone from whom we collect such information should expect that it will be carefully protected; it will be used for only the intended purpose and will never be shared with third parties.

B) Defining Personal

Information Personal information is any information that can be used to distinguish, identify or contact a specific individual. Examples of personal information include age, contact information of individuals (not publicly available business contact information) and financial information such as credit card numbers.

C) Privacy Practices

We collect, use and disclose personal information only for purposes of: volunteer administration, clinic registration, the collection of donations via third party service provider (Paypal), performing seat inspections, assessing client satisfaction and planning future services of value for the community.

Personal information gathered by SEATS for Kids is kept in confidence. SEATS for Kids personnel are authorized to access personal information based only on their need to deal with the information for the reason(s) for which it was obtained. Safeguards are in place to ensure that the information is not disclosed or shared more widely than is necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was gathered.
